SELF-REGULATED LEARNING (SRL) FIRST YEAR STUDENTS

چکیده

This study aims to determine the Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) first year students in Departement of Technology and Vocational Education (JPTK), Faculty Teacher Training (FKIP), Palangka Raya University (UPR). Zimmerman (1989) explains that be able carry out self regulation learning, students/learners must regulate themselves or use certain strategies achieve their learning goals. Pascarella & Terenzini (2005) stated is very important identify who may at risk subsequent years, so it considered most optimal time take action. research a quantitative research. describe self-regulated using (2002) indicators, namely (1) task analysis (2) motivational beliefs (3) self-control (4) observation (5) judgement (6) reactions. The instrument used was questionnaire 28 items Likert scale with four answer choices. subjects were 57 (JPTK) FKIP UPR. results showed 10,53% subject had low (SRL), 38,60% category, 36,84% high 14,03% category.
